AFC Cup Result – Perak FA 0 Safa FC 2
•17 September, 2008 • Leave a CommentPerak failed to take home advantage tonight against Safa FC in AFC Cup 1st leg quarterfinals match at Perak Stadium. Even though Perak has shown a good game, we cant finish the opportunities that we have tonight. The new formation is well adopt by our players but we don’t have the striker to convert it. Khalid Jamlus is having hamstring and Steve Darby had to bring Danial Fadzly to play in striker position.
The 2nd leg of the AFC Cup quarterfinals match will be held at Lebanon Sports City Stadium on 23rd September 2008. Perak will travel to Lebanon on Saturday 20th September 2008. Steve Darby will only bring 16 players and 4 officers to Lebanon instead of 20 players and 8 officers that is compulsory to the AFC regulation.
